Are you a prospective student from the southwest United Sates and are worried about how you'll be able to live without In-N-Out? It was major topic of discussion at the so-cal summer send off party last year. Many people said their their "last meal" before flying to Hawaii would be a burger form In-N-Out. Well fear not my friends, there is a place in Kailua (and Waikiki) where you can get your burger fix should you need one.

Teddy's Bigger Burger in Kailua has been serving as our In-N-Out replacement since last semester. It has a classic 50s looks about the place, with period appropriate decorations and tunes playing. It offers a wider selection than In-N-Out, so I haven't quite honed in on a favorite menu item. I'm still in the process of trying different things to see what I like.

The sign on the building in large friendly letters

Ordering one of their burgers from friendly people!

I decided to get some onion rings this time per suggestion of my dad back home, usually I get their french fries.

I was raised on spicy foods so I decided to try the cajun burger. I've gotten the western and "normal" burgers in the past.

A few bites in and you can see see juicy meat and the cajun seasoning getting all over everything

I plan on going back a few more times and trying different things. A friend who was with me got the "spud burger." I think I might try that next time.

Address for those who are here or are visiting:
539 Kailua Rd
Kailua, HI 96734

-Andrew
